So, Thursday was speant meeting this kid who's like 16. He was pretty cool, to be completely honest!

Friday...hmm... our walking tour with the ex-political prisoner. Might have been the highlight of my trip. There was 7 of us and this guy and for 3 hours he walked us around the Falls Road which was the epicenter of the Republican side during the 'troubls'. He really knew his crap. Some random crazy guy started yelling at us during the first 5 minutes and he had all these cuts on his head. It started to downpour on our way home from the Milltown Cemetary, where two of the hunger strikers are buried. We got home and looked like we had been in a flood or something. Plus my aunt fell so she was a bit on the muddy side.
We came home and sat around. After a short dinner, we went to a glow-in-the-dark bowling alley. I came in 3rd, sorry to say, but i did pretty well considering i am the worst bowler in history.

right now i'm here and i can hear the Belfast Pride Day parade. Because, you know, wherever i go, the gay people follow. I wish i was joking. I remember when Drew and i were in NYC and it was Pride Day and all these men were walking around with speedos. FUN!

tomorrow i come home! I'm going to miss Ireland very much.. but i miss my friends and family (and work!) so i'll see you all later!
thanks for reading the blog!

E.
